EarthBound begins in the quiet town of Onett, where a meteor crash shatters young Ness's ordinary life. A strange being named Buzz Buzz warns him of Giygas, a monstrous alien set to destroy the world, and reveals that only four children can stop him. Ness must find Paula, Jeff, and Poo to battle bizarre enemies in this turn-based RPG. Travel through quirky locations, gain experience, use psychic powers, and survive heavy hits thanks to the rolling HP meter.
