In Mega Man 6, the world celebrates the first global Robot Design Contest, where hundreds of inventors present their most powerful creations. But when the mysterious sponsor, Mr. X, kidnaps the eight winning robots and declares his plan to take over the world, chaos erupts. When confronted, Mr. X shocks Mega Man by revealing that Dr. Wily was merely his puppet all along.
